Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple, Ulu in Balinese mean heart, Watu it's mean stone. This temple built in 11th century by Javanese priest Empu Kuturan or well known with Empu Raja Kerta. The temple located in south western tip of peninsula, up to the blue sea cliff approximately 100 meters high, the best place to view of the sunset. In 16 century another Javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha visit this temple and add more building, he retreated to this temple for his final life, when he attained Moksa or freedom. The temple has very aggresif monkey colony. Entrance ticket cost at 3,000 rupiahs/person.

Kecak Dance

Kecak Dance at Uluwatu Temple, A Kecak performance is very simple. The men's chorus chants the words Cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak ke-cak, in rhythm, over and over again, For this reason they are called the Kecak or Cak dance. The Kecak dances consist of about fifty men wearing only a loin-cloth, the upper part of their bodies left bare. They form rows of circles, in teh middle of which is a coconut oil lamp. The Kecak dance is performed for dance-dramas and the story presented is take from the Ramayana epic. Ticket fee at 50,000 rupiahs/person

Taman Ayun Temple

Taman Ayun Temple - Royal Family Temple in Mengwi, huge state temple of Mengwi Kingdom surrounded by a wide moat, the temple built in 1634. Outside yard with open grassy expanse and meeting hall for held the meeting, dance performance and sometime cockfighting. Midle yard built high wood bell (Kulkul), oustide yard to midle yard separate by open gate and from midle yard to inner courtyard separate by close gate. Inner courtyard has a lot of multitiered shrines (Meru), from first till the highest one. The visitor allowing to see the inner courtyard from outside only. Fruit Bats and Monkey Forest

Fruit Bats and Monkey Forest (Alas Kedaton), located in Kukuh Village a litle bit west from Taman Ayun Temple, Tabanan regency. About 500 population monkeys in this forest, inside of the forest there is very old temple (Alas Kedaton Temple), big fruit bats hanging in high tree during the day time and will go to outside for feed in the night time. A lot of shop on the way to the forest and the local guide (one of the shopkeeper) will accompany you to see the monkey around and the end they will ask you to visit theirs shop for souvenirs. Tanah Lot

Tanah Lot Temple, the end of the trip we will see Tanah Lot Temple. The temple perched on a little rocky islet. This temple was built in 16th century by the Javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha who built many temple near the sea around the island such as Rambut Siwi Temple in west of Bali, Pulaki Temple and Ponjok Batu Temple in North of Bali. Barong and Keris Dance

Barong and Keris Dance at Batubulan Village, the performance start at 9.30 am and finish at 10.30 am. The Barong play represent an enternal fight between good and evil spirit. A Barong (a mythological animal) represent good spirit and Rangda (a mythological monster) represent evil one. Balinese people also belived that the Barong is symbol of protector. Many kinds face of Barong, mostly is Barong cat, Barong Landung, Barong Macan (tiger face) Barong celeng (pig face). The ticket cost to see this performance at 80,000 rupiahs/person.

Silver smith, woodcarving and painter village

Silver smith, woodcarving and painter village, the gold and silver smith is Celuk Village, located next to Bali Bird Park, there are a lot of huge silver shop in this village. The woodcarving Village name is Mas and Kemenuh Village, both village produce very good quality of woodcarving made from very hard wood such as teak, mahogany, ebony and hibiscus wood, those of wood import from another island Java, Sumatra and Sulawesi. Painter village name is Batuan or Lod Tunduh Village, the artist in this village created variety of painting.

Ubud Market and Ubud Palace

Ubud Market and Ubud Palace, the market has two different parts, traditional market located in the west of arts market, the traditional market sell daily food and open earlier. The arts market sell various of handicrafts, arts and textiles. Next to Ubud market is Ubud Palace where is the Royal Family live, in evening the outside yard use by the local group dance performance to held Legong Dance, Barong Dance, Ramayana Ballet and Mahabrata Ballet. Beside of the palace there is Ibu Oka Warung famous with the suckling pig (Babi Guling).

Denpasar Market

Denpasar market, Denpasar is the capital of Bali Province. The main street of Denpasar is Gajah Mada street where is the main shopping center, there are 2 big market, Pasar Badung and Pasar Kumbasari, Pasar mean market. Both of the market has 4 storey and open 24 hours in the day time the market open in main building, in the base and second floor for vegetables, fruits, meat and daily food seller, third and fourth floor for textile and temple procession equipment. Late evening till early morning the market open in the parking area. In the main street there are a lot of big textiles shops.

Museum Bali

Museum Bali, this museum originally built in 1910 by Dutch Government. In 20 January 1917 this museum was destroyed by the biggest earthquake in Bali. In 1932 the museum again till today, there are 4 main building in south pavilion has 2 storey has collection of prehistoric pieces, traditional artefacts and some old painting. Futher north Buleleng building has variety collection of textiles including endek and double ikat gringsing. Other building Karangasem has Balinese calender and priest' clothing. the Northen building is Tabanan has many Barong mask and Keris. Entrance fee at 3,000 rupiahs/person
