It is based on the the ritual of an exfoliation and body polishing treatment done by the royal family in Java. A brown, granular paste of pulverized ingredients like turmeric, sandalwood, scented woods, ground nuts and rice are painted into the body till dry. The paste is then gently rubbed off, hence exfoliating and polishing the skin. The treatment is followed by a rinsing shower and in some places, yoghurt or a mixture of honey and milk is wiped over the body to restore the natural PH of the skin. Finally a warm, scented, flower-filled bath finishes off this luxorious skin treatment.

Thalasso
Thalasso theraphy is the use of sea water for curative and preventative means in marine environment and under medical supervision. This means that in order for a true center of thalasso theraphy to exist, it must be no more than 800 meters (2700 feet) from the shore line and constantly pumping fresh sea water, filtered through large canals. The effect of sea water to treat afflictions such as blood disorders, arthritis, eating disorder, smoking, weight loss, and stress management are scientifically proven as beneficiary. If we compare our own blood plasma to seawater's composition, it is almost identical.
